The Press and Quick Reaction Unit of the Office of the Council of Ministers wishes to inform the local and international public opinions that as a result of the revised figures officially released by the committee set up by the Royal Government of Cambodia to handle the unfortunate and regretful incident occurred on 22 November 2010 on Pich Bridge, Koh Pich Area-Phnom Penh, during the Water Festival are as-follows:
1. The total number of those who had lost their lives is 347 (male: 126, female: 221).
2. The total number of those who have been injured is 395.
Therefore, the Press and Quick Reaction Unit of the Office of the Council of Ministers kindly requests all those concerned, especially the local and international media, to use the above mentioned figures as the official record.
