Wat Phnom resort, the historical heritage building, established in 1372, is presently too old; particularly the temple itself. By receiving a principle approval from the Royal Government to renovate that temple, Phnom Penh Capital Hall celebrated Krong Pali (Mother of the Earth Ceremony) as the commencement of its rehabilitation on December 15, 2010 presided over by Mrs. TOUCH Sarom, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh Capital City, the highly representative ofH.E Governor KEP Chuk Tema, H.E HAB Touch, Director General of Technique, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and some city officers. It is remarkable that the renovation work will take 06 months starting from February 2011.
